My Senior Internship was at the University of North Florida School of Communication. I was an intern for their 90 second daily news cast called Inside Swoop in 90. Every day I went into the studio and wrote my news pieces off of the Associated Press Newsroom after writing them the show was filmed. I was responsible for knowing how all the equipment worked, Cameras, teleprompters, mics, tricastor etc. After Anchoring my own show I help my fellow anchors record their shows. Then I edit the show using Adobe Premier Pro. As an Inside Swoop in 90 intern I had the opportunity to create my own show. The program was lacking a weather segment so I began one and designed all the graphics myself. The Inside Swoop in 90 internship has taught me so much about being in front of the camera. I am confident that skills and abilities will help me succeed in a professional setting.
